The Ultimate Success

It’s been a whirlwind lately, and I’m looking forward to a few days away at one of my favorite spots to decompress and process the past few weeks.

Over the past several days I’ve been immersed in doTerra Leadership Training.  It was humbling and inspiring.

This photo was shown at our training in NYC.  It’s a picture of one of the founders, Emily Wright, sharing a hug with a woman in Nepal, the location where doTerra sources Wintergreen.  Take a few minutes to check out video to see what this photo really means.

This month brought a recipe for reflection (kind of like the perfect storm, but in a good way!): my 50th Birthday, the beginning of my participation in a year long spiritually based business program including a three day retreat with the amazing women in the program, the 23rd anniversary of my dad’s passing, and most recently the Leadership Training I’ve attended the past few days.

The combined experiences have resulted in a phrase that’s been marinating in my mind.

Success on my terms.

I’ve been giving thought to what that means to me.

For me the ultimate success is changing lives by helping people remember what it feels like to feel good in their bodies and in their lives.

Success is also being part of a team that inspires me and wants to have fun, and leading others to experience the same.

Success is being part of something bigger than me, something that makes a difference in the world.

Success is living with balance, energy, ease and joy.

Success on my terms.

This is a short life.  Why accept anything less?

What are your terms for success?
