Something to look forward to

We all need something to look forward to, now more than ever.

Anticipation makes it easier to get through tough times.  It helps us to continue moving forward and can also be a powerful motivator.

With the happenings in the world, coupled with the stress and grief in my personal life, I really haven’t felt like there was much to look forward to.  On top of that, this very uncertain climate has put a lot of our previous plans on hold, and we are mourning a multitude of losses.

Tomorrow we begin the second half of the year.  Times will still be ambiguous, and sadness will still be prevalent, but we CAN create small pockets of “normalcy”, moments of hope, and things to look forward to.

I have decided to begin July by adding a few socially distant, sanitized and low risk experiences to my calendar, and I’ve got to say I’m REALLY looking forward to them, possibly with greater appreciation and gratitude than my early 2020 self. This picture is a little glimpse of summer light, the light of hope, peaking through. 🙂

What are you looking forward in this new month?

I really would love to know, because hearing what you are anticipating elevates my hopefulness. I’m going to post this question in my Radiant Life FB group too, so feel free to share there and help to uplift us all.

And what is more beautiful than when we all rise together?`
